Em romaria rumo a ti vou em reverência
pois hoje, numa lágrima eu assim quisera
ver-te as asas em mais esta primavera
e aos teus pés, deitar a minha existência.


Oferenda, entregue a mim naquele outono
que num suspiro, todo sonho e toda lenda
avermelhando o lenço preso na contenda
te condenaram! ao mais profundo sono.


Luz que emana de ti, estrela vespertina
recolhe de cada flor a pétala orvalhada
pelo azul dos olhos teus preso na opalina


e inclinando a alma em amor e gratidão
aceno a ti, cadente que se vai na esplanada,
levando no caudal, esta minha oração.

I am going towards you in veneration
because today, in a tear I really wished
to see your wings in just one more spring
and lay down all my existence for you.


Offering, dedicated to me in that autumn
in a whisper, all dreams and legend
over the reddish scarf held by contention
condemned you to the deeper asleep.


Light that emanates from you, evening star
from each flower gather the petals wet with dew
by the blue of your eyes held inside glass


and bending my soul in devotion and grateful
I beckon to you, falling star that goes away
taking with you this prayer from mine.
