Há nas cordilheiras o sol aquecendo o lírio em flor
semeia em dourado à cerejeira o semblante da menina
traz ao verdejante prado, às serras e também à colina
o sorriso semeado que pulsa firme e forte em amor!


Um lírio que nas pétalas é somente e só candura
exalando junto aos céus em brumas de algodão
duas gotas da minh'alma em mais uma oração
junto a tanto amor,tu a melodia e eu a partitura.


Lis transparente que em ternura abranda minha terra
volta a ti a eterna canção pulsante em meus veios
e num sonho beija-te qual orvalho da lua-esfera,


esta noite cerro os olhos e no piscar da estrela e ao luar
delineio c'o a luz das tuas letras no coração e no ponteiro
junto àquelas a tua e a inscrição: Para sempre hei de te amar!

A lily that her petals just covered by tenderness

exalts there...on skies in cotton clouds

two drops from my soul in another one prayer

next to so much love, you are the melody and I am score.



Transparent lily, you soften my ground with smoothness

come back to you the eternal chant from my veins

and kiss you in a dream as the dew from the sphere-moon,



at this night I close my eyes and under twinkling star and moonlight

I draw into my heart and over hand with the light from your words

next to those ones and the inscription: I will love you, forever and a day.
