Curva-se o templo ante o guerreiro que resplandece
escalando degraus rumo ao zênite escrito nas estrelas
e na ventura do prateado que ao dourado se assemelha
brilha o sorriso da ametista que só teu nome enaltece.


Hoje a ti não se emula nenhum emblema ou brasão
pois és augusto agora e sempre na terra ou no céu
e com decoro imperas, co'a bravura de um coronel
imensas searas, elevando as cores do teu pendão.


Quisera hoje estar à altura e poder na tua farda ser
uma só cor, ou na túnica que com orgulho alinhava
o nobre soldado que em jura é da Pátria até morrer.


Reverencio-te, serão teus todos os louros da vitória
que te esperam no topo desta colina que desbravas
iniciando assim com mérito a tua gloriosa história.

Climbing steps towards to the zenith written in stars
Moreover, on the destiny of silver that means gold
the amethyst smile lights and only your name exalts.


Today any symbol nor than sign can be compared to you
because you are noble now and ever over Earth and Heaven
the valor from a colonel you have and with honor you reign
enormous fields, rising straight up the colors of your flag.


Wish I was up to you and in your uniform could be
only one color, or than over the cape that proud dresses
the noble soldier who until the end of time is from his land.


I bow down to you; all the glory laurels will be yours
awaiting for you at the top of this mount where you climb
starting with merit your glorious history.
